Fuel Pump or Ignition Coils?
Fuel Pump or Ignition Coils?
Ok so this morning my car wouldn't start and still wont start. The car cranks all day, but wont start. I couldn't hear the fuel pump going on or anything, but I've also been told on here that since my car has 90k+ on the clock the ignition coils could also be bad. I smelled gas this morning while I was trying to start it, so I assumed the pump was ok, but after further testing I can't hear **** and I even opened the trunk and listened to it from there.
try it with starting fluid. Open top part of air box, spray just a little and cranck motor, if it start for a few seconds, something is wrong with fuel delivery, if it doesn't do anything then fuel system ok, look into ignition system, i.e. cam shaft sensors, crankshaft sensors, ecu, etc.
