rebadge mytrunk

so when i got my max is was missing all of its badges i wont to at least put the maxima back on the trunk. but i dont want stock i want something different. so here is my idea i went to the junk yard and snatched a few badges from random cars and broke the letters apart and came up with what you see in the pic. im trying to get a few opinions here on if this idea is YAY or GAY?

are you making a maxima or a ransom note?

interesting idea, but i think it looks cleaner with no badges. the maxima isn't the right car for this. would look cool on an older car.

well if my max was in mint shape i would not do it but as it sits it needs a little body work. so its not like i would do this to a show car or one in prefect shape. just looking for ideas ive never seen done before something different.

Is this an early April Fool's joke.......? Keep it shaven clean, it's always better that way.

Eh, its not a bad idea if matched right, perhaps you can come up with some other candidates that just might look half way decent. Personally I'd chose any three of those over having my Max shaved.. 95-96 maxima's should definately stay UNshaved, not sure what you have but referring to mine

Not unless it's got a 97-99 rear

I don't think that the options look good. They may look good off the car, but on the car against paint it'll look different. IMO, keep it shaved.

You've said it, I think 97-99 can pull it off and actually look good, 95-96 just have all that open space that they look like crap

fake carbon fiber is for ricers and has no place on a maxima any where. i think the back on my 95 max looks empty like its missing something. the dousch that debabged my trunk cut around the stock badges with a razor blade. so i now have a half a$$Ed maxima badge scraped in my trunk that looks like crap i was trying to do this to sorta cover it up. as seen in pics below

Get some polishing compound and clean that up a bit, it should take care of most of the damage except for the deep stuff. Now that you post that pic, you should stick to the OEM badge so the razor scratches dont show as much.

Last time I went to order them with my buddy from the dealer and he paid like 22 bucks or something like that, as a matter of fact, he's on the org (infowire) and he hasnt installed the badge yet in like 2 years he's owned it..maybe he'll sell it cheap?
