i cant get my CEL to go off in my car it came on the other day and not it wont go off even when i try to read codes with the screw on the side of the ECU it wont even flash?

 

You didnt break the screw did you?

 

Go to Autozone and just have them scan the car. There has to be a code.

 

no i dont think it broke the screw it still turns fine.

 

go and make sure.. just because it turns fine, doesn't mean it aint "internally" broken. o_O

and go to autozone and read the code, buy the part if needed, replace it. then clear the code..

or.. just clear the code all together.
