NEED HELP changing p1400 cod EGR SOLENOID VLAVE

For thosw who have changed the EGR SOLENOID VALVE, the green valve next to the intake manifold, how did you chane it?? i mean to ask is how did you change it since the 10mm bolt is underneath the valve. I know you can take off the upper intake manifold and try to reach it than but is there an easier way to do so??thank you.

Get a 10mm flex head ratcheting wrench (the Gearwrench brand is available at Lowes, Sears, or Ace Hardware). Bend the head 90 degrees, cup it in the fingers of your left hand, slip in onto the nut, pull your hand out, and turn it. Have a magnetic pickup handy because you'll likely drop the nut once it comes off. You can also bend the little platform it's mounted on if you need to.

Anyway that's how I did it. There might be some other easy way, but I couldn't see any way to get a stubby wrench or a flex head ratchet and socket into that small space.

A crows foot wrench works just as well. It's basically just the head of an open-end wrench that fits on a socket extension. I found one at Sears for a few bucks a while back.

ratcheting 10mm closed wrench. break the nut free, do the rest with ur fingers. use a panel popper to pry off the hoses easily. cakewalk.
