Pioneer AVIC-X710BT vs. Eclipse AVN6620

OK guys I need some opinions on the Pioneer AVIC-X710BT vs. Eclipse AVN6620. I am not sure which one to get.

-They are in the same price range
-AVN is older technology
-Pioneer seems to be not liked by some on here
-AVN shipped with 2006 maps

What I am MAINLY looking for:
-Good Navigation
-Good ipod interface

I am not an audio guru so I would not likely notice the sound quailty difference between any decent unit. Besides, both of them should have adjustable eq's. Not looking to spend much more money than what these units cost.

Please let me know your opinions or anything that I am missing.

I would go with the 710 for the integrated bt, and usb, however the 6620 would likely trump it in nav and sound. The 6620 has old maps, so thats kind of a pita.

If you can actually go and demo them it will help your decision. You can compare numbers on paper but it's good to see which one you like better in person.

Unfortunatly the audio stores around me dont have these models on display. Guess I will just have to make a decision. Might be the eclipse because of the ESN technology.
