FS: Brand New Front Engine Valve cover from 6th Gen Maxima
FS: Brand New Front Engine Valve cover + Gasket for VQ35 5th & 6th Gen Maxima
I have a brand new engine valve cover for the front half of the 3.5L engine.
This is a brand new, genuine OEM, never installed, never used, still in the original box valve cover. I got it from Nissan dealer. I will also include the rubber gasket!
It is for 2005 Maxima but as many of you know, it fits the 2002-2003 Maxima as well. I bought it to replace the leaking valve cover (i had oil in the spark plug wells) on my 2003 Maxima but i sold the car before i could do this little project.
It comes with new rubber gasket. I can post a couple of pictures if interested. Sold as is.
Price: $50 + S/H ==> This includes valve cover AND rubber gasket!

I am surprised that no one with a 3.5L VQ does not want to fix his leaking valve cover. Such a common problem on these engines. I had two of my spark plug wells filled with oil.

The original valve cover seals in the 5.5th Gen Maxima were bad, regardless if they were on the front or rear. My local Nissan dealer told me that they replace the valve covers all the time on older VQ35s.
The 6th Gen Valve cover was improved, yet compatible with the 5.5 Gen Maxima engine.
I am selling the 6th Gen valve cover + rubber gasket.

DaveB may sell for $45, but this does NOT include the rubber gasket ($17) and s/h.
I am offering both - valve cover + gasket.
