Any problems with silicone radiator hoses?

I have had the upper one come off on the radiator side twice now. I had the clamp tightened down a LOT, radiator was just replace, maybe the problem is the radiator not the hose.

Just curious if these things are slipperier than regular hoses and need more attention.

that sounds dangerous ....sounds like your hose might be too big ... and there should be a flared edge where the hose goes on the radiator and the clamp past that to keep from slipping off
