thinking about painting........

I want to do something more to my car but I really like the overall exterior of the the car. I was thinking of painting the lip kit, and color matching the wheels QT1 white. I mean it looks good on paper, but I have never seen it on a maxima.
Should I go from this

to this

If the color match was better, I'd say do it. But leave the wheels alone.

I had white wheels way back in the day. I really liked the look of it and always got tons of compliments. I powdercoated them black when I began buying CF parts to pull the two tone theme together.

a few other members did have white wheels with a white kit, Slammed98 being one of them...

I think it is a clean look, as long as the wheels match the car fairly close, if not they will just be too bright and stand out too much. If you do it, leave the lips polished.

painting the skirts sounds good, it will look less like primer.

Could we see the other combo?

Can you post a pic of the white skirt and rims as they are in silver?

I really want to paint the kit. and the only reason I even thought about doing the wheels is because I was thinking of getting them dipped in chrome. But that is expensive as hell.

thanks for all of the input everyone

Have you thought about painting the face of the wheel white And leaving the rest that Polished (or whatever) finish? Truly the best of both worlds and I would paint the kit 100 percent.
