next- small rolling burnout,26psi,slipped clutch at 3500


last- tiny rolling burnout,26psi, 3500 clutch slip.

Looks like your car is running strong.

 

Weather conditions? I ran a very similar time stock as well, but the weather certainly helped. Temps in the 50s and mild humidity.

 

Not bad, work that 60' down with more practice.

 

lower the tire pressure to 20 or as low as 18psi and ull see a little bit better times... what suspension mods???

yeah, if i had mnore time t o play with the tire press./ launching i might have gotten it down a little more. i guess im gonna run slicks next spring and get that 13..
is it even worth it with street tires? car is stock with air filter/progress springs/93 gas LOL

yeah man whats up! some how we got seperated the 3rd race. i went against a mustang cobra and got waxed . than i weighed my car and i didnt see you after that, you leave right away?

 

you guys think i will be able to get into the 13's with just drag radials or slicks,pretty much the way the car is, maybe empty trunk ? eventually my plans are spacers/headers/clutch/tune (maybe e-manage). i also have a full NOS wet kit from my 4th gen when im really ready to play with teh big dogs...

 

Yes, a 1.9 would have you in the 13s for sure. Based on your 2nd run a 2.0 would almost certainly have you in the 13s as well.

Pretty quick for a stock family car.

thanks. im not really worried about records or anything like that, I just want the car to be happy and healthy. that was my first time at the track. if i mod it the track will be used just to measure the performance increase, you know?




the maxi is getting really anxious and wants to play. cant wait for spring and the track to be open. cant even put it down in second the roads are just too cold.the care is still stock but within the next couple months there might be a couple things done to it.

also depending on a couple things i have a wet NOS kit with extras from my 4th gen that i might install. im in the process of blowing up my friends DA than after that i will be upgrading some parts on the kit.(diff heater,DBW window switch,lean shutdown switch, and more)

 

i deff will but englishtown is now closed for the winter, they open in a couple months
