who has the g2 euro tail lights blacked out ?

i know there was someone on here with the g2 euro tail lights who blacked out all the chrome and just left the red brake lights, but i cant remember his name or find him...so if you see this, could you tell me how you did it? thank you

I hardly see these.People tend to prefer stock anyday over these.

yea they dont look nice in the pic, but when it shows just the red it looks really nice. i wanted to see how to do it first because if its too hard or expensive im just going to get the red and clears...

well..

it shouldn't be too hard.. i had some taillights like those. what i did was take a heat gun and heated the edge of the taillights where the glue and everything is holding them in, and slowly took a flat head and gently pried the cover, but be careful when doing this. Because if the glue is not soft enough to let go of the cover, you can and WILL crack the cover. or you can just stick it in the oven for like 5 minutes under 350 degrees of heat. but anywho.. once you figure out a way to take the lenses off, tape off what you don't want painted, and get your spray paint ready.. do you want dull? or glossy? it's up to you.. now that you have finished painting your lights, let them dry. and take your heat gun and soften up the glue to be able to put the lens back on. or just stick it in the oven again for 5 minutes. BUT be sure that the lens are on there 100%. if not, you leave space for moisture to get in and could possibly damage the internals. But anyways.. if you have any questions let me know.
