New Throwout Bearing Grease
I just got a new OEM Throwout Bearing and I wanted to know if grease must be applied before installation. If so, what kind of grease?
I did some searching and only found that white lithium grease is a no no.

You only need a small amount any excess will collect on the shaft and might be flung onto the clutch.
Put a thin coating on the shaft slide the the bearing back and forth a bit wipe of the excess
