oil and gas in oil catch can?...pics in link

Has anyone noticed this in their catch cans. when i first installed it it just got oil in it. I use 15w-40 for oil weight. the last timei changed my oil the oil one i had was 5w-30 so thats whats in right now. i never had this beige colored oil in with the 1540 but since the 530 its become this color. i smell some gas with the oil. im wondering if since i removed the vias and now have the block plate if some gas is trickling into the catch can to do this... anyone get this too?

mine did too. i wonder know if since it was with a thicker oil before it just didnt look different...and now since its a light weight and thinner oil it reacts different....? kinda like mixing vodka with redbull vs vodka with soda..just my analogy

Gas? Maybe. I just thought it was water/moisture being pulled out of the air and mixing with the oil in the can. I'll taste some next time and see if thats right..
