need clutch help

00 max se, 157xxx on the odo. bought the car in feb of 08 with 125xxx on it. last year around november 08, my clutch pedal went dead, tried bleeding but wouldnt bleed, had it taken to a shop in alabama and had master and slave cylinders replaced, fixed the problem for just over a year. just about 3 weeks ago, pedal dropped to the floor again, brought it to a different shop, in connecticut this time, to hear that the slave had a leak in it. i had him bleed it and figured id do then work when it got warmer, so i had kept the reservoir to the max figuring it wouldn't let air in the line, or at least not as much, as he said to do, but just tonight the pedal went dead again. i went looking through receipts of work done to the car, and in may of 06, the past owner had a lot of work done, transmission rebuilt, new clutch assy, new master and slave. im out of answers, im sure the life span of a slave cyl is more than a year, so i cant understand what is wrong. my dad thinks there is something wrong with the adjustment, but that just doesnt make sense in my head. can anyone help with this and possibly give more answers that help? sorry for my life story, but im in a horrible mood, as i had a trip to new hampshire tomorrow and had to refrain from breaking my keyboard among other things

simple step on the clutch and have someone watch for the slave to move...

check the line between the master and slave.. make sure that is not leaking anywhere..

if it is leaking then replace it with a one piece SS line and ur good to go... after you bleed it of course.

and buy oem parts not vatozone ones...

The rubber section of hose is notorious for going out on the 5th gen cars. Replace that before anything. Even if it looks good from the outside it can break down inside. Flush the fluid while you're at it because the hose can leave pieces floating in the fluid.

It was exactly that, there is a small leak in the rubber hose adjacent to the slave cyl. Does anyone know what this is called? I was planning on calling dave b. Tomorrow
