Arc Audio 2500-XXK vs. Blown Internal Fuses
Arc Audio 2500-XXK vs. Blown Internal Fuses
What's up, guys? I hope all is well. I'm hoping you can help me troubleshoot a little problem I am having here...
I have an Arc Audio 2500-XXK that has sat dormant for about 2 years in my garage and I have finally gotten around to installing the beast. So I connected everything up as normal only to discover she's not firing up. After troubleshooting the obvious turn-on/ground/power lines, I opened up the chassis to discover that all 3 30-amp fuses had blown. Hoping this to be a one time event, I purchased a new set of fuses and again then went.
Any ideas as to what I can do to troubleshoot the matter, or does this need to be sent out for repair?

yeah, sounds like it needs some repair work.
kinda silly but i've accidentally connected the power and ground backwards on my 1500-xxk and blew all the internal fuses. maybe you had a brainfart and did the same?
also make sure there are no frayed wires from the power wire touching the ground terminal.
