popping noise when cvt trans shifts

popping noise when cvt trans shifts

so i have a 07 max and i got a popping noise when i shift with the triptronic and when it somewhat downshifts in drive and also when i put it in drive neutral and park so yea i think my trans is going anyone have this problem

Tranny going on a 07 already? definitely take it to the dealership ASAP.

the 6th gen is knowing for bad trany my dude you should have warrenty on it tho unless you pass the mileage the give you...

Anybody know if an accident to the car in the past (now Repaired) will void this warranty?

Questionable. As long as it was repaired by a reputable place it shouldn't. I wouldn't mention anything about it unless they ask you directly...

CVT Tranny warranty has been bumped up to 120K
make no mention to accident unless they ask

my car's registration carries a junk/salvaged title though, not sure if common practice is that all factory warranty is voided in this case?
