99% chance if it was working and it just stopped then it's the fuse in the amp. The amp is in the trunk at the top, in otherwards under the rear window shelf. You have to pull back the lining and it is there. should be the passengers side next to the trunk light bulb. If that fuse is good I believe there is one on the driver's side next to the hood release in the cabin and one in the fuse box under the hood. Remember there are two fuse boxes under the hood so check both. I would start with the amp fuse first. If all of the fuses are good take it to nissan and have them check it out. could be wires or even head unit.

Thanks for the heads up on where the amp was.. I was trying to look for it but it's not like my 01 max where its exposed everything is covered in the back there and I didnt wana start pull stuff out for no reason.. I'll check the amp fuses and I'll take a look at the fuses under the hood.. Can one tell me where or which fuse box I'm looking for? Is it next to the battery? under the plastic covers??? Thanks!!

You have 3 fuse boxes in the 2005 maxima....

one inside by the drivers steering wheel
by the passenger side under the hood
and by the battery under the hood

now to get to the amp, you have to take off the carpeting directly up "the ceiling" to the trunk. It's just clips. once you have that off you'll be able to check the amp fuse.

keep us updated and good luck

So far all fuses under and in the hood are good.. no problems with relays or nething like that everything got juice and the fuses are not blown next stop is the Amp under the carpet... Oh and btw it is a BOSE system i dunno if thats going to make a difference with the amp or something...

Thanks... keep you updated on what I find out...

If you have a DMM, you can start probing wires on the amps outputs when you have a CD playing. That will at least tell you if you are getting power OUT of the amp.
