G37 Steering Wheel on an i35?

Hey guys-

Just curious if a G37 steering wheel would fit in an i35. I borrowed a dealer's loaner yesterday while having some work done on my car, and I think the G37 wheel is more comfortable. Anyone ever done this or looked into it? (I searched, but didn't find anything.)

The only things I really care about are:

1) Will it bolt on in the first place?
2) Is the cruise control harness at least similar? (I could rig it to work)
3) Airbag connection similar?
4) Does the G37 have the heated steering wheel option? (I'd hate to lose that.)

Thanks!

I know I'm going to have to be the guinea pig for this... lol

Next question: Anyone know where I can pick up a G37 wheel for cheap? Ebay appears to be fresh out.

Rofl.. i would say check junkyards.. but those r most likely totalled cars. and airbag deployed.. its to new to have spare wheels floating around in the net IMO

If I'm not mistaken, isn't it basically the same steering wheel that was in the later-model G35 sedans (newer body style before they got the 3.7)?

If so...

Of course, you'd need to find airbags, but that wouldn't be too difficult I imagine. According to some of those auctions, it might be the same wheel used in the EX35 (I can't remember, it's been a while since I drove one of those).

I found one on ebay, but Im not about to pay $400 for a potentially incompatible wheel. (I thought about junkyards, but totaly missed the likelyhood of the airbags being deployed. ****. But good thinking!)

Hm interesting, I would love to do this too. Our wheel is a little too skinny and big.
