wtb: 95-99 SE 5spd OEM WOOD grain shifter trim

Hey guys,

My car is originally a 97 SE automatic which came with the oem wood dash kit. On the SE models it is a wood veneer kit that is pasted on top of the existing black dash making the center dash pieces FLUSH with the dashboard. GLE models have molded plastic wood pieces that replace your existing center dash pieces.

Anyway, my car is now 5spd and I am looking for an SE trim that is from this kit. I have read here in the past many years ago that members have purchased this kit from Nissan and it came with both automatic and manual pieces. My car came installed with the kit already at the dealer and they did not leave me with the 5spd trim

This is what the OEM dash looks like...

The 5spd version is the same and is also stamped Nissan in the upper left corner. If anyone has one of these laying around, please let me know. The i30 5spd is molded and will only match GLE wood color so that is not an option.

My interior currently looks very wierd ... so please help.

Yes, car was purchased new in 97. It's stamped Nissan under the cigarette lighter. It was an accessory for SE. GXE had the same option but their wood was a red oak color.

GLE: wood pieces are the radio down to shifter trim and door switches ONLY. Molded plastic.
SE: Entire dash, steering wheel trim, front 2 side vents ONLY. No door switch and it's wood veener.

My 98 se also has the wood trim. I'm in the same boat as this fella. My automatic will soon be a 5speed and I'll be looking for the same wood trim. **Not under cutting, the original poster has all rights to available trim peice***

The Nissan burlwood trim will not match that (the only wood shifter trim is from the I30 and it has the GLE style molded piece) . Your best bet will be to contact one of the aftermarket places and get the trim piece. Most of your kit looks like it was "stuck" on top of the old one anyways so it will look similar.

No I am looking for the exact same kit in the 5spd version. This one slip out of my hands during a recent part out. It's the same color and paste on type that I have.

You can try to cut your auto one and glue it back on if you can't find it.

This seems like it was a Dealer option, I don't see it in the Nissan FAST
