Nokya bulbs fried my connectors, how much is it to replace

For the last month or so I have had no head light and today i checked them to see what was wrong and saw that the plugs to the lights have melted. So I guess I have to replace them. Has this ever happen to anyone here, I was using those Nokya's and how much does it cost to replace those tips?

i had to have one of the headlight connectors replaced, i had it done at the dealer and i think the part cost like $12. If it is only the connector, it should be a fairly cheap fix, but if you fried the wires, it will be significantly more. Also, whne you get it fixed make sure you use the right wattage bulbs. If you want to use higher wattage bulbs, you will have to rewire the lights witha larger gauge wire to accomodate the extra current.

most likely it's just the connector...go to pepboys and look for a 9004 harness...3 prong with 3 wires...cut off old and splice on new and your set for like 5 bucks...

autozone sells them, they are $2.99 each. Just ask for 9004 bulb harness.

I'd reccomend getting an upgraded harness. The pepboys one is cheap and works but melted in less than 2 nights on me with my Nokya bulbs. I decided to remove the Nokya headlights altogether and just save up for HID's.

For those that have the Nokya's bulbs, did the melted harnesses come after a long period of time or happen within a short time from installing the bulbs. I have bluish Nokya bulbs which I put in 2 months ago and are still going strong--harness looks good. From the packaging, I am not clear whether these are overwatt or not--it is either 80/100 or is trying to say they are as bright as 80/100.

CUZO

I have CUZO's and had the same problem.

I just attached the wires directly onto the bulb prongs. the connector is there just to make your life easier. cut'em and attach the wires directly.
