I didn't see the plate. But I saw his exhaust. Not too many M-Roadsters running around with an exhaust like that.

yeah that was me. i was getting a Nextel at a store in flushing.
I think dark blue top is the best match for the body, otherwise it's black or beige, no good.

I think I would have went with black. I don't think the nice blue of your car goes well with the dull blue of the top. Just my opinion. Nextel? Agggh.. *beep**beep*. Those things are like electronic leashes at their worst! Unless you're the one leashing someone..

Nextel is really cool I just discovered.
I can log onto my WaterHouse account to trade stock with it, I never had a cell phone that can do that.

Hey Woody...

What happened to that plate idea: sux2byou...or however you spelled it? What's this "fly 2 lo" supposed to mean?
Sharp-looking exhaust.

Here's an off-topic question:

How is the Z3 roadster different from the M3 roadster? In terms of sheetmetal (looks) and performance (engine specs/suspension).

Also wats the price difference? Can you tell which one is which by looking at it from the front?

I've never seen an M roadster b4..only seen Z3s (lots of them around here in Toronto). I've seen an M Coupe twice though.

It's actually very easy to tell a M from a Z.
<img src="http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1234597&a=9113588&p=29530723">
<img src="http://mz3.net/pictures/20000108.jpg">

From the front:
The lower front bumper on the M looks like lip spolier on both side, more aggressive looking than Z, Z doesn't have those 2 pcs that sticks out.
Z has factory fog lights. M doesn't, because it has a Ram air intake setup, need the air flow.

from the side:
M has chrome vent grill. Z is body color.

From the tail:
M has dual exhaust with dual tips on each side, Z only has exhaust on the left side.

Performance wise:
M does 13.7 in 1/4m, while Z3 2.8 does 14.8 and Z3 2.3 does 15.3.
M has M tech suspension, which is suppose to handle better than Z.

price wise:
M is $42k.
Z ranges from $30k to $38k.

The rims....that deep lip rear wheels =) If i can find some 18X8.5 rims, polished lip and 35mm offset. That's going to be nice on the Maxima.

Thanks for the timely reply WoodEar.

There's not much price difference considering for wat you get in the M.

You guys are really lucky to be able to drive these cars (M, GS400, etc...). Should be grateful...and don't worry..one day I'll end up buying a BMW or Lexus...one day..

For most ppl..money is a motivation to study hard..for me it's being able to own a sports car...hehe...

I dono about your phone. But my friend's iDen 1000+ has horrible sound quality. The *beep**beep* function is nice.. (direct connect).. but the phone isn't all that. But I guess you want it for its browser capability.

yeah the online thing is very useful.
also, you know what's also cool? you know how i usually spend a hour to store all the numbers and names when i get a new phone, with the Nextel, you can use a computer to type up the list at their website, then you can use the phone to wireless syncrolize and download the list into the phone, much faster that way, i was like wow when i found out you can do that

Yeah, I have the cable to upload and download #'s directly from your computer, you can use that as well as the website. It's pretty cool.

You can do what?? WOW!! OMG! No more 4447552299933? Now thats a useful feature! Which model do you have? My friend's iDen 1000+ doesn't seem to have a hands free port. And ofcourse its kinda clunky. My contract is up in december. I was thinking voicestream. But I have a friend who has it now. Nice phones. Nice features.. But I get the all circuits are busy message more than I get my friend when I call.. Kinda sucks..

If Woodear is on a public network I would bet there is a good chance we are on the same one. It doesn't have to be the same plan, just same network.

yeah, the public fleet is either #44 or #46, I am on one of them
any number of people can creat their own private fleet network, so maybe you maxima guys should creat one, it's free anyway I think

I like the S2000

I'm sure the M Roadster outperforms the S2000, but sometimes I figure you just go for looks. There have got to be 5 Roadsters in our company parking lot that started showing up summer 2000. People in my company make way too much money. Seriously, sometimes I wonder what it is that they do all day, they're not even in the office 8 hours and they take 2 hour lunches and dress like they're at the shore! Anyway the BMW looks kinda stubby and narrow. It looks great from the front, but any other angle it looks tiny like an MG. The S2000 is very mean and rare. Doesn't truly have the HP or torque but is more exotic. The Boxster S I think is also better than the M, there's only 1 in our lot.

Sometimes I'm tempted too to waste money on cars, but luckily I don't give in.

I kinda wondered the same time. What do you do for a living WoodEar? I'm assuming your heavily into the stock market. Am I right?

Cause you got to be loaded to afford a Maxima, GS400, and an M roadster. Hell..in our area...your loaded if you can afford a fully loaded Maxima!
