Hey everyone,

I'm just starting to piece together my drum set, finally, after spending a year "borrowing" a friend's. I've got a snare, toms, kick drum and hi-hats already, so not really interested in those. I'm really just looking for some crash cymbals in decent shape, preferably Zildjan or Pearl...It's my first set though, so I'm not super picky. I'd like to try out different cymbals, different sounds, etc. to get a feel for what I do and don't like.

I'm also looking for a boom stand for my ride cymbal and straight stand for my crash cymbals when I finally get ahold of them.

If anyone has anything they're looking to get rid of, let me know. This set's been sitting in my garage for too long, and I'm dying to get it put together.

I know, I know. A car forum is kind of an out-of-the-ordinary place to look for drum stuff, but I figure I'd ask. You never know what you might turn up.

 

I have a zildjian zxt titanium 16" rock crash and an old school Gibralter boom stand. I also have an 18" medium crash as well, but I am more partial to it because there is a small crack in the 16" which only lower it's price. It works fine, but slowly, it will crack more and more, unless you successfully drill it out. The stand is the most heavy duty stand I have ever seen. Make an offer if you want to.
