Is 27-28k for a 2k2 6spd with leather right?

Well yeah, unless you get it in Canada. Then you can get a fully loaded (less the NAV) for about $36k CAD or less which comes out to around $22.5K.

Russ - Try Tim Martin at David McDavid in Houston.
713-941-0600

They have a few 6 speed Maximas in stock, and more are on the way. They would "like" to get $1000 over invoice for them, but would be willing to talk lower numbers.

That works out to $27,679 for Leather, Bose, Sunroof, Floor Mats, Splash Guards, Sunroof Deflector and Destination Charge - thats with the extra $1000 over the $26,679 invoice.

I test drove one that was pretty stripped. No leather or any of that stuff. Only had a sunroof if I recall. Don't know how much I could have gotten it for because it wasn't what I wanted, so I never bothered to check.

$28.1k for a fully loaded 6spd/HLSD SE (minus Nav) is the deal I've got going.

Dang Russ, you keep trading cars around like this and you'll be driving around in a $27K Max that you're paying $40K for You're like my buddy. He switches cars every 6 months and I swear he's driving a $10K 99 Civic that he's paying $20K for.

Your friend is right (the guy with the Silverado), you can't face the notion that they're will always be a faster and nicer Maxima available. What you have is really nice, just keep it for a while.

You guys are bad. The only reason I am even considering it, is for a low interest rate right now, and the dealer is giving 120k mile 10 year warranty for free! Plus possible to get my payments cheaper. That is the only reason why I am looking into it right now.

Welp, SprintMax can update his thing saying "it didn't happen" .

Dealers would not budge on the prices they were asking. I haggled for 2 hrs, lol!!! Oh well, 3 dealers out. Actually after driving the 6spd again tonight, I wasn't all that impressed. The car has defintely take off power, but once your rolling, its not any faster than my car with a intake personally. I timed with my watch both, and my car from 40 got to 120 faster than the 2k2. Go figure. Also I didn't like the delay you feel when you hit the gas and you get no response for a good sec then it hits.

2k1 3.0 vq all the way!

russ russ russ...come on man. You know the 2k2 wasn't broken in yet. Of course it's gonna feel slower than your well-oiled and fully broken in 2k1. Just imagine how that sweet VQ35 will feel fully broken in baby!! You know you wanna run 14.3's

That's the poorest excuse not to get a 2k2 I've heard yet. Trust me, you'd get used to it

Just adding more fuel to the fire :-D

The one I drove tonight had 600 miles on it, thats enough broken in.

Plus nissan engines are broken in at the factory before they get into the car.

No, no, no, no, no, no....

Nissan builds some of the tightest engines out there from the factory.

And I don't mean "tight" as in phat, cool, slick, tick, etc. I mean the fit of the parts tends to be very tight.

Well I know from my contact at Nissan all engines are broken in at the factory so the seals meet well. I tend to believe this because my engine got rebuilt, and after it was it had smells for a good couple hundred of miles, then it was gone, but when m coolant and oil was changed, I had some seal stuff in there that comes out.

When you have a new car, it does not do this.
