anybody know a place that shaves stock flywheels
Yea certain machine shops do this. however, from my experience you cannot lighten a gen 4 (maybe even gen 5) flywheel. This is because of its 2 piece design, there is a secondary plate behind the flywheel for the crankshaft positional sensor to read on the flywheel. There really isnt any place to shave off any more weight.

I think most people on the 4th gen just go for the lighter flywheel from like UDR or whatnot. I think there's weighs in at 6 pounds. Anyone know what the stock weight is?
