anybody know a place that shaves stock flywheels

anybody know a place that shaves stock flywheels

also anybody know any pros or cons to this mod.

mostly curious to talk to people who have done this.

Yea certain machine shops do this. however, from my experience you cannot lighten a gen 4 (maybe even gen 5) flywheel. This is because of its 2 piece design, there is a secondary plate behind the flywheel for the crankshaft positional sensor to read on the flywheel. There really isnt any place to shave off any more weight.

I think most people on the 4th gen just go for the lighter flywheel from like UDR or whatnot. I think there's weighs in at 6 pounds. Anyone know what the stock weight is?
