Does Shaving the Trunk lid devalue the MAX??

i want to shave the MAXIMA and PLATINUM from the trunk lid - do you think this will devalue the ride??

Only if you plan on selling it, otherwise it's your ride, the value is what you deem it to be.

Just put them back on when you sell, or instruct the new buyer you will give them to him or her.

It depends.... Some dealers will use that against you if you're trading in the vehicle. I don't see it as a major deal breaker if they do. Your best bet is to save them and if they bring it up, tell them that you'll put them back on. It's really easy. The hardest part would be line them up correctly if you have an OCD.

Either way, go for it! Go for the clean look.
