Bazooka RS104DV sounds awkward

I recently got the Bazooka RS104DV. I hooked it up an seems to sound weird at high volume. Even at mid volume it sounds kinda muffled. I wire the amp to the line out converter. I connected the line out converter to the speaker wires after the signal was amplified by the Bose amplifier. I have the stock bose HU. Should I do that or should I wire it before the signal is amplified? Will it make a difference? Thanks a bunch.

I also have an 10" Bazooka. Hook it up to the the headunit's output; basically before the Bose amplifier. This is the best way for Bazooka subs.
