Can a JWT 95-96 automatic ECU work on a 5spd?? I read it can long time ago, so I assume it does but am I missing something? I think it is a federal spec ecu, waiting for a reply from the seller. BTW, the ecu is used, i'd get a 5spd if i'd get it new...

Also does those ecu goes well with a 75shot NOS setup or the timing upgrade is not intended for NOS use??

the ecu will work on a 5spd but not the opposite as 5spd compare to auto do NOT have electronics......DON'T SPRAY WITH AN AFTERMARKET ECU IF TIMING IS ADVANCED. you will detonate ur motor and eventually throw a rod. i got rid of my 100shot when i got the JWT ecu.....although i miss it the 8k fuel cut and diff fuel curves are great for N/A

 

All right, so no go with the spray and JWT ECU. So, at the track, ill bring my oem ecu for spray and the jwt for NA runs and get back to home. Thanks for the advice I30dvr.

yip she will work on a 5 speed but it will through a few cels
