I have the P0420 code and was wondering do i put non-foulers in all the o2 bungs or just the o2 bank that the code is throwing on? thanks..

 

It only goes in the REAR sensor of the bank that is setting the code.

If your car is a 2000 FED version, you will only have one rear sensor anyway.

 

so since i have a FED spec it would go on the o2 thats behind the cat??

Are you sure you have a FED spec Maxima? I have never come across a FED spec Maxima of that vintage. Take a look at the front of the engine. If you see 4 connectors for 4 O2 sensors, then you have Cali spec Maxima. Bank 1 is the closest to firewall and P0420 is for that bank.

yes I have a FED spec...and im still trying to get the code resolved if someone could point me in the right direction. I tried the non-fouler but that didn't work.
