Okay I needed new tires for my 5th gen after driving for months without getting an alignment.. My tires were literally showing wires because they were do bald. I guess I was putting it off because I was still doing work on my suspension/steering. Well anyways, I needed four new tires and I didnt have too much money. I went on ebay looking for used tires and found these LINGLONG tires, brand new, set of four for the cheap. I did some research and found that they arent rated the best. They arent bad, but just not the best. I thought, well at the price I paid, I dont think I could go wrong.

I threw them on the other day and went for an epic drive. You see, I havent had my car aligned for months and Ive changed my suspension at least 10 times. Along with a racing seat, steering wheel and new tires. So this was the best drive in over a year.

I flew on an on ramp when it was dry and they held traction very well up until a certain point.

From a stop they can be spun easily, but thats just the VQ power

Overall I am very impressed with them, I have only put around 100 miles on them so far..

NO! i've heard they are not recommended...i know you have heard of..'you get what you pay for'..well you said its the cheapest........

 

Yes but they were rated by car and driver or something and were named as "Livelong" tires.... I just needed something new and something that would last for awhile.

Im happy with them so far.

Interesting read. Definitely post a follow up after you put on about 1k on them to get rid of the glaze on top.

Personally, I won't be looking at no-name tires anymore. I have a pair with lots of tread on my winter beater and they're garbage at best. The 7yr old Goodyears with 2/32" worth of tread up front are far superior.

 

so far the tires are okay, they handle decent in the dry but in the rain they dont do much

 

no good in rain = no good for Florida...

 

I had these tires and I'm getting all of them replaced as we speak. I HATED these tires. They are SO loud and rough/hard I was embarrassed for people to ride with me. My dad was even like....What happened to your car? It doesn't ride like it did a few months ago? I will never skimp out on tires again!

 

What r u replacing with? I love my Continental ExtremeContact DWS all-seasons. Not a fan of the softer sidewall but that's not a dealbreaker at all for me...
