Took my car to a tranny shop today and the mechanic seems to think I have some broken gears. I've been having this rubbing noise lately and it only does it when I'm in gear. 1,2,3 gears. Taking it back Wednesday so he can put it on a lift and pinpoint the noise and see if it's actually coming from the tranny. Just wondering where I could get a good used tranny. Or would it be better for them to just rebuild mine?
