01 AE body kit on 5.5 gen?

Ok, don't flame me too bad b/c I did search quickly with no success. From what I understand the main issue would be the front bumper. Now my question is, would it be worth the effort to modify the AE front lip? Or is it not really worth it and just get a stillen front lip? Pics are greatly appreciated if someone has done this already.

Btw, if this is a REALLY stupid question, I'll just delete this thread. Thanks in advance.

Someone actually did it but I didn't save the picture. IMO it doesn't look right because of fitment issue. And no it's not worth modifying the rare AE lip or your bumper. The Stillen Classic lip is by far the cleanest lip you can put on the 5.5

Junkyard, dealerships, ebay, 5th classified subforum, or just buy an AE
Look here for the ebay link for the complete AE kit http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...y-lip-kit.html

you can try researching for the front bumper but the rear can be found at ionicdynamics

You're not going to find one at a dealership. Pretty sure they've been discontinued. Junkyard/classifieds/ebay are your only options, realistically. Better save up some coin if you really want one.

dealer is discontinued, and even if it wasnt, at 600 bucks, might as well buy a stillen kit. only problem is i think they discontinued the front lip

^They're close but not the same. AE sides have slightly more aggressive curves

AE sides are two piece, 5.5 are one piece.

Oh, and not to be off topic with the thread.

I'd do the stillen classic lip on the 02/03 Those look clean with the AE Rear.. but with the mud flaps. it looks kinda plain without them :P

Yep, that's the same picture. Someone brushed out the badge, is all. Kind of false-advertising, if you ask me, using an actual AE rear-end as an example of their aftermarket one. (tsk tsk)

You should see if you can get something out of them for using your car un-asked. A set of CF b-pillar plates, for example.
