Looking For: AC compressor discharge line

I need the aluminum line on the high side of the AC compressor. Don't care about the rubber part.

Located in NJ. Let me know if you can help!

I'm at work so I can't look but you need the line between the compressor and condensor? I'm pretty sure thats the high ide line. What year do you have?

Not sure what it goes to... back in 2006, I bought a bunch of parts. I think they came from a 1996 Maxima?? I cut the line and used the aluminum tube part that bolts to the high side of the compressor. I attached my own line to it.

While trying to bend it a little bit to make room for my SC, I snapped it. The one I had comes up out of the compressor for 1/2 inch, makes 1 90deg bend toward the back of the compressor, then bends down, and loops back up.

I actually need a line that will come straight up and run in the same direction as the low side (next to the AC "muffler" canister). I am going to try and bend it again (and not crack it this time). I am not sure the year/applications is a critical as that it fits properly in to the compressor since I will be modifying it anyway.

How much to ship it to 07726?

Thanks

Well the fittings for the compressor are different on the 95-96 and 97-99. I take it this is for a car with a swapped VQ? $25 shipped for a 95-96 high side line that runs from the compressor to the condensor.

How can I tell which compressor I have?

The easiest way to tell is the 95-96 uses bolts to secure the lines to the compressor. Where as the 97-99 has studs screwed into the compressor so it uses nuts to secure the lines.

I have studs, with a nut...

So, I am looking for a 97-99 line?

Yes you should have a 97-99 comppressor then. Just to make sure whats the model # on your compressor. Regardless I have a 97-99 line as well.

Based on what I am seeing, the 96 style has the line come out of the side of the fitting (90 deg to the compressor), where the 98 style has the line come straight out, THEN it bends. is this correct?

My line comes straight out, then bends.

I was not able to get the model number off the compressor... Do you think this is enough information to go by to confirm which line I need?

Thanks

This is a pic of the 95-96 line.

I can get a pic of the 97-99 line when I head to my shop but it looks like you need the 97-99 line.

I looked at my 97 parts car and the line was the same shape as the 95-96 line just with the different size fitting. It took some digging in my shop but I think I found the line you need. It fits the 97-99 compressor and has the line coming out the top.

Joe, do you have another complete discharge hose? I ended up being able to use it without modifying it... However, during some test runs today it fell on my exhaust pipe and burned through...

Thanks.

Chances are slim I have another one with those same bends. Give me a few days to check for you though.
