How much do u want for the swap? Are they ls400 capsules? What brand of HIDs are they and how long have u had them installed, I'm very interested. My fogs are in great condition.

 

you pay shipping both ways is what i want. I am unsure of the capsules. I bought them already installed. All i can tell you is that they have no shields on the capsules. Inside the fog is just the capsule. No OEM glare shields. They have DDM tuning 3k HID bulbs in them currently that have less then 6 months use.

First of all I just want to say, the moderator can decide if this is unapropriate or not

I msgd this user to trade his fogs straight up for my OEM nissan fogs a few weeks ago. I was sceptical as to why someone would want to trade retrofitted fogs, WITH HIDSs straight up for stock OEMs. So I looked into this users previous posts and saw that he posted on multiple threads about how his passenger side fog light does not provide a clear beam, and that it scatters everywhere and that he thought the capsule was damaged, and was not sure what the problem was, and figured one of the capsules was damaged. I sent him a private message asking about this, and asking him if everything was 100% with the setup before I sent the payment via paypal. I recieved no response from this user. Clearly there is something wrong with this foglamp setup and the user is not disclosing that information, and trying to get a mint OEM setup to replace it. If you are buying this setup please use your discrection and common sense.. no one is going to trade a retrofitted set WITH HIDs straight for OEM fogs.

I honestly don't like to do this, but I know there are many users out there who want to have the 3K w/lexus capsule look and open this thread thinking that it's a steal. I don't want to see anyone on here get scammed, and personally I know I would be pissed if I bought this set going based on what the user told me about it. At this level it's also hard to call it a scam, because everything is functioning properly per say, but when you install the set and realize that your passenger fog lamp is blinding oncoming traffic ect, you will realize that it's clearly defective and there is no way to fix it other than retrofitting another capsule.. if you can even find the exact one that he used that is...

Sorry if you feel that this is flaming or putting down your sale.. but I'm just telling the truth.. and as a user who does a lot of buying/selling on here I want to keep the system as honest as possible. If there is another reason as to why you turned down my offer, of trading you my OEM Nissan fog lamps in 10/10 condition for your foglights, after I asked questions about your posts, please let me know.. I would love to hear why.

First off i'm sorry if I missed ONE of your PM's. I've gotten a lot of interest with these and it probly got overlooked. Also at the time you were pm'ing me i had someone local who wanted to trade but the day we were suppose to meet i got called into work. E-mailed him back and heard nothing so i moved on. I belive I told another member(idk if it was you or not) on here that I had someone local who wanted them.
The pass. side at first did not have a clear beam(was like that when I bought them) I opened it up and corrected the problem. The capsule is perfect. Nothing wrong with it. It ended up being one of the solder spots let go and was causing the capsule to lift up from that side and sit sideways causing the beam to stray to the right more then usual. I corrected the problem by resoldering it and cleaning the inside lens. Sealed them back up and put them on the car. Aimed them and no problems. Which is why there is clear epoxy on the drivers side and black epoxy on the side i did. which i've said in pms.I'll admit not telling people the one side strayed but the problem was FIXED. so i found no reason to mention it. As I've said in pm's also I constanly change the lights on my car. I had these fogs for maybe a month. I have seriously at least 5-6 different bulbs for the fogs alone.
would you like me to take a night time pic of the beam in front of the car to prove that its fixed? I've sent pics of my fogs to a few members on here already.If you would like me topost them I will. I would go out now buts its 3am and am typing this from my phone laying in bed.

As far as you being skeptical on the trade/sale.I got a good deal on them where I pretty much paid for just an HID kit and traded my OEM fogs for them. I wasnt looking to make money off them. Hence why I said just pay shipping both ways and give me your OEM fogs and there yours. Is that consdiered a steal? paying probly $40 for shipping them? thats close to what I paid. Whats the problem with passing a good deal along to someone else? Guess I can't do that. The current well maybe buyer has a brandnew set of fogs that weren't on his car for a week. Thats brand new 10/10 OEM fogs.

Like I said above. NOTHING is wrong with the capsule nor the foglights at this point in time. there still on my car right now.

No need to apoligize. Does not bother me. I believe i answered your questions above. If i missed one let me know. Will be glad to answer. I have nothing to hide. The fogs are in 100% working order. NO broken capsules etc...

 

I didn't mean to screw up your for sale thread, maybe I shouldve taken it to PM but I didn't get any responses from you after talking back and forth about them several times. I had my fogs out and everything ready to ship to you. You can't blame me for thinking it was a raw deal, because we talked about the deal several times, and then when I asked about the problems you had with them, I recieved no response, yet you continued to bump the thread which is questionable. If they ARE fixed, I'm even still interested if your buyer backs out. Once again I'm sorry to bring this to your thread but I wasted time taking out my fogs and was really looking forward to getting these fogs, and didn't know why our deal fell through.

Like I said I missed 1 of your pms. Idr getting any other pms from you since we last went back and forth. IF you really were that serious and did infact have your fogs out you should have pm'd me again saying so and things would have went differently. I will have pics posted in the morning with my headlights on and just the fogs. The only camera I have access to is my phone so they may not be the best but they will get the point across.
