just replaced maf

ok so i took my 2000 maxima to work and ran it for codes since my ses light was on, i got a code for my maf a code for my rear O2 sensor and a code for my IACV. i replaced the maf and now the damn car runs worse than what it was before. and i dont know where to begin because i just spent 100 something on the maf and a Aem dryflow airfilter and i cant afford to replace something else and it not fix my car. any ideas?

question i wonder is .....if you didnt throw a code for running lean or a bad maf code...why did you replace youre MAF?? if you ran a code for rear o2 and iacv you shoulda replaced those....the o2 and iacv together are cheaper than 1 maf replacement...

You also may need to have the dealership update your ECU now that you have a new MAF and yes the 02 sensor and vias do need to be looked after as well

i replaced the maf because i was getting the code and then i changed it and got the code again. and here is the thing, i work for my local ford dealer and there is a nissan dealer across the street so when i bought the maf at the dealer i opened it up and seen a piece of paper that said you need to have your ecm reprogramed so i then asked the parts guy that sold me the maf if he could help me out there. so he called a tech and asked if i needed it and the tech just said no its not needed. idk if he was just trying to get me outta there or not but i didnt want to spend money if it wasnt needed.

ok just to throw out there what my car is doing to maybe help figure out whats wrong with it, my car is very had to start after driving for a while, burns gas worse than my F250, i had 1/2 a tank before i went to work and i had it setting in the shop idleing yesterday for a while and then when i get home i was down to 1/4 a tank and i work 10 min away from my house, when i try to hold the gas at 1500 rpm it jumps back and forth from 1500 to 2000, major lag when i give it gas and i can bearly take off unless im above 3000. im pretty good with cars but mine is kicking my a**
