I've seen a few posts here regarding the lack of Hawk HPS and HP+ pads for our cars. Apparently Hawk has stopped making the 4th gen Maxima part number, but I have verified with my own hands that the 00-01 Maxima and 03 350Z pads fit in our calipers. The 00-01 Max and 03 350Z have the same part number.

The reason for the differentiation is 0.7mm width difference, which doesn't affect swapping at all. Just gives you a very slightly larger rotor sweep area which will benefit braking anyways (albeit so slightly that you'd never even notice).

Interesting. I had trouble finding HPS pads for my Q45 calipers recently. Doubt the 350Z pads would work in the Q45s though .
