After reading up much about electronic motor mounts potentially failing and taking other components down with them... I have been thinking of converting to regular manual mounts.

I checked on rockauto.com and they have the passenger side mount, trans mount and the rear mount for the manual maximas. I havent been able to find the transmission side mount and front mount for the automatic maxima.

Are these dealer only parts

I'm thinking of doing all 4 mounts since I am still on the original mounts with 189K on them. Lately moving the car from P->R or R->D has produced a little more jerk than usual so i am sure the mounts are on the way out.

I'm not planning to do ES just OEM... if not rockauto... anyone know where else I can buy these mounts... courtesyparts etc are way too expensive and I dont want to go there or DaveB unless I cant find them like anywhere.

You can get the manual transmission mounts from BAP autoparts, just tell them you have a manual maxima instead of auto

 

Thanks they atleast have the trans mount for auto but even they dont have the front mount for manuals or autos.

 

Do you have a BAP parts local to you? I didn't have much searching their website but they had what I needed in store. 60 bucks each for transmission mount and passenger mount. I didn't get rear mounts because I bought those from energy suspension instead.
