It's always something new to P*** me off

I just went through the trouble to replace the fuel level sender and rewire new harness connectors to the flow level and the pump itself.

I put it all back together and the engine cranks but won't start. Then I go back in and make sure everything is correctly connected and the hose inside the tank isn't crimped. Again engine cranks but won't start.

Now I'm pissed! I pulled the supply line off the top of the fuel level sender and turn the ignition to on and I hear it prime but absolutely no fuel. I go back into the tank and remove the fuel pump and it doesn't work. I wired it and held in down in the fuel and again Nada.

Luckily Summit racing is overnighting a pump for tomorrow AM. It's a Walbro hi-flow Fuel Pump, Electric, In-Tank, 255 lph, #VPN-GSS342. The pump is about 8 years old. How long are they supposed to last and how do I get the crud out of the tank with about 7 gallons remaining?

I assume u replace fuse for the pump when u started up the car again.

U have to remove carefully per FSM. I have never replaced the pump on my car so i have no hints to offer. apologies

I thought everythin for the pump came as one assembly?
