$300 maxima bad buy?

i bought her a year ago for $300. when i bought her she wouldnt start(i fixed that problem with a new starter ot has ran awsome since. she has 444,000 miles on the body(no rust what so ever) and 50,000 on the engine and tranny.
was this a good buy?

still wet from bath. and after i spray painted the hood.

Before the bath and before i painted the hood.

Of course it was

Even to part out it would be a value. As a part car for your other max, even more vluable. But how much fun is it to drive and is it reliable are the true tests of value.

$1000 for install?

I wouldnt pay that, personally...

But yea total for the car is a good price.

As for the $300 max, good deal, but this is the most pointless thread ever. Are you trying to show off that you got a cheap car?
Congrats but this is pointless

I don't care for the sound it makes. I've heard the stillen mufflers in person before and it still sounds like rice in my opinion. AND technically, if some took the less ricey stillen tip and put a bigger tip, then I still consider it a fart can

Don't take any offense though, its just my opinion. The Max was an awesome deal for the price you got it and I looks great

A friend gave me a DYNOMAX muffler for my 97. It sounds awesome. No fart can sound at all. Its got a good low deep tone to it.

I paid 12 times what you paid. good buy.

Its the exhaust like a civic hatch or a celica or something wld put on there cars. It makes it "high performance" but sounds like the car is farting.

Also known as:
Pissed off bumble bee
Weedeater
Leafblower
2 strokes
Gay. Etc.

no. there are still that many miles on your body of the car. Just keep track of the mileage on the motor and the mileage on the body when you do the swap and you can keep track of it.

OP:

Can you post some interior shots? The body looks fine based on the pictures you have posted. I guess my 95SE, 5-speed, with 82,200 one-owner mostly highway miles on it has some life left. I had the tranny rebuilt last summer as the diff bearings were shot and replaced the clutch components at the same time, although they had years of life left in them.
