Slammed on BC Racing Coilovers
Slammed on BC Racing Coilovers
Hey guys, I recently purchased a set of BC Racing Coilovers for my car and just wanted to give you guys an overview of the set-up. I'm currently slammed (as low as it will go), which tucks most of my tire front and rear. I do have to say that these coilovers have been nothing but quality. From the moment I took them out of the box, to the ride. Switching over from AG Kit springs with stock struts to these BC's was like night and day; the ride is sooooo much better. Even though I am slammed, the ride is very smooth, although you slightly feel bumps in the road from the stiffness, it's not bouncy at all. For the price, quality, and ride comfort; I think these are the best bang for your buck.

I also just purchased a set of 20" Sevas R5 Forged 3-piece wheels (20x9.5F; 20x10.5R) which are getting refinished right now. They are gonna have liquid aluminum faces with a polished (looks like chrome) lip. Should look good. I'll keep you guys posted

looking good slam , what size tires are you on ? rubbing at all ?
any issues with driving that low ? sub frame scrapping ?
This is my lowest I can go with springs

But I dont plan to be that low but your stance looks mad tight !!
props !!

Thx, I'm running 245/35/20 in the front and 275/30/20 in the rear. There is slight rubbing in the front when I hit a bump in the road so I plan on stretching a 225/35/20 tire on it in the future. Other than that the rear doesn't rub. As for the sub-frame, it does scrape when going over speed bumps.
The drop really looks tight! Keep up the good work.
I could never drop my car that low with these roads in Houston and the way I drive.
I see a lot of people talking about axles getting broken. Does that happen to everyone with a drop? Scares me, for I was thinking someday of doing a slight drop. Nothing aggressive.

car looks good, do you raise it when you drive, I've seen the underneath of lowered cars and it just does not sit well with me, can't even call it bottoming out, more like a boat dragging the bottom in shallow water
