KYB AGX Struts!!

Well just got the kyb's put on my 95 Max SE.
Thanks to Max Org subscriber recommendations..
All I can say is that these stuts are worth there weight in gold…
I thought the shop that put them in for me gave me the wrong car…
I cant believe it…feels like a new car.. Paid $750 installed. ( I know could of put them in myself... way to much work involved for me…)

Now back to my 2 month mission of finding a drivers side fog light for my car…

Thanks again to all for there recommendations.

Well 400 for the Struts.. 350 for install.
I called about 15 places in the NY area the common
quote was 950-1200..
Midas wanted 60-70 a wheel.
I could get the struts online for 380-400
which would come out to 640 + tax = appx 700
But... I trust the shop I went to...

wow... that is crazy, I'm in rochester NY and I paid about $850 for AGX + ground controls including shipping and install - this was without knowing anybody and just walking into my local performance shop.

Total with Tax I paid $750 That included a wheel alignment.
Most shops tryed to sell me the struts for 550-700.
The best part these guys didnt even know what they were selling
let alone know anything about my car."Yes we chare extra for back
..you see we need to take your back seat out for rear struts"....
No you dont.. shut up...

And SURPRISE!!!! these Fu!!!!ers where all links I followed
from KYB's web site under certified reseller/installers...

Oh well the ending to this story is happy one...

Damn, that's a lot for install.

It seems to me as long as you have the right tools and
a little mechanical ability you should have no problems
installing springs and shocks yourself.

Thats what I was thinking. the install cost as much as the parts did.

I'm getting ground controls this week, and I wanted to get AGX's, but the guy at the shop told me I couldn't get them with ground controls. And they told me it would be $750 just for ground controls and tokicos, without installation. Am I getting ripped off?

Sh*t!!! I just bought H&R springs last week, i was gonna have them installed soon. I could barely afford them, how the hell am I going to afford installation? I didnt think it cost that much. Can I get some feedback on what some .org memebers have paid for having springs installed please!! Id hate to have to wait a month or two to get enough money.

The shop I'm going to charges $65 an hour for labor, and they said to put coilovers and struts in would take 3 to 4 hours.
