07 Front Brake Pads

07 Front Brake Pads

Car is about to hit 70000 and i need need front pads.. not planning on changing the rotors ... any ideas on wat pads to get?

please post some links so i can buy them because i dont kno anything about cars lol ... gas n drive

Sounds like you wont be installing yourself, just take it somewhere and have it done.

No need to buy pads.

im sorry im a little confused... "no need to buy pads" n yea definitely im taking it to a shop for them to install it

He's saying just buy the pads from the shop thats installing it for you

Don't want to hijack but every how long should you replace ur pads? I had mine since 06 with the oem pads....Still stops like a champ....!!!

When they start squeaking or if that "stops like a champ" feel goes away

No squeaking so far...So I guess im still good. Who knows maybe the dealership send some of there tech's undercover and they change my pads when I get an oil change...LoL

Mileage will vary. Some guys needs pads at 20k, others get well into the 60k's and still have plenty of pad left. If you drive with efficiency in mind most of the time, you'll find you rarely use your brakes other then slowing from posted speed to stop at a light or stopsign. Avoid regular hard braking, and you'll last a good long time, and do everything possible to avoid using brakes at high speed...moderate your accelerator with antisipation, and again, you'll find you don't use your brakes much at all...
