I did a search but couldn't find anything and was hoping someone had some knowledge.

The black vinyl around the door and pillars is shrinking on the corners and has some spots where I can actually see the door. I was wondering if anyone has taken the vinyl off completely? or if anyone can tell me if the door is finished the same as the car underneath the vinyl?

I haven't done the photoshop to see what it would look like, but was thinking of either touchup paint/sharpie to cover the spots or taking the vinyl completely off. I'm worried if the paint has faded.. Any suggestions?
