Strange Noise coming from the left rear

I get a noise from the left rear that, to me, sounds like a stuck brake caliper, or something binding. I took it a to a shop and they drove it around and said they thought it was a left rear wheel bearing. I called DaveB and he said those almost never go out.

Anybody have any ideas or experience with a similar issue? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

More than likely the common rear caliper seize.

My right one randomly does this. Not sure what the correct fix is. Several have replaced with new/rebuilt.

I've just dealt with it for the last 3+ years.

I will add that it is most noticeable when making right hand turns at low speed

They drove it around to check it,instead of putting it on the lift and removing back tire? I would have them look at your caliper bolts....loose maybe?
