While changing my wheel bearing a while ago the abs sensor got damaged when heating up the snap ring to get it out. I picked up a new spindle off and 02 that had a abs sensor with it. I got it home and the plugs were different from my 00 to the 02.

Can i just cut the plug ends and swap them over or do I need a whole new sensor?

 

Maybe spend some alone time with the FSM from both years and see what the voltages/frequencies are etc are and if they're the same, try it.

I'd try that and see what happens.
