Not turning On!!!! Help

ok my wife was leaving to the store and she turned on the car i came down to bring my son and i told her to turn it off. Something didnt sound right!
so when she tried turning the car on again the car wouldnt start no more..
We hear no clicking sound comming from the starter so i dont think is the started I will be changing it tomorrow just in case...But i called my friend and ask him what would be the problem. HE told me it was the ignition Switch But i replaced it and still nothing, The battery is not dead because everything turns on nothing dims windows go up and down. Checked battery on dads car and works fine... THats our only car I need It working ANY HELP Thanks

Starter. Hit it with a hammer, see if you can get it to start.

Try banging it while it's on there.

Yes! Bang on it while it is all bolted up and everything, and if you try again and it starts, then you need a new starter or a hammer to take along everywhere you go.

But if it still doesn't start then it could be the starter is completely dead and there is no way around it, or its something else. Good luck!
