i know i've asked about this before, but no one ever answers...hmm. anyway, i purchased a nissan HUD from an 89-91 vers. maxima. i was trying to find out if i can some how put this on my 93. i took the dash all apart, but could not find the plug (if it exists on 92-94)! if it turns out that there isn't a plug, does anyone know nissan's wiring colors? or do they even stick to specific colors for specific functions? also, i'm tryin to find an a-frame/pillar guage thing-i've seen other people with them, where can i get one??

you cannot easily get that HUD to work in your car without some crazy work
the plug for the HUD goes into the back of the digital speedo; it is controlled by a little computer inside there
Our analog gauges have no need for a digital output so you will have to convert them somehow and without all the wiring and parts from a digital dash car already installed, you're in for quite a bit of work
Also for the digital display to work like it's supposed to, they have a different windshield with a small piece in the corner where the HUD shows to help it show up better. I doubt it's really necessary but it's yet another thing missing.
Your best bet is to go to the junkyard you found the HUD at and try to get everything else from the dash since you're set on using this piece. I dont have my FSM with me so I can't tell you offhand what it includes, but if you got all the stuff, you MIGHT (and it's still a very long shot) be able to find the parts you need and take them off the gauge cluster and hide them in your dash some where. They do sell aftermarket units which would probably be a better option since it would include all the parts you need for sure.

use a 92 two door integra pod it fits the best. well for me anyways
