same length tho i think,... found sommee ffoorr cheap couldnt do anything to put them on

You can do anything with enough time and modification, but the end result may not be worth it, and it probably wont look too good, but you can try. You never know until you try.

Not sure about AE skirts but I'm currently messing around with 2002-03 skirts, so far I've determined that they go with the same contour as the 4th gen in regards to the wheel wells and door curve near the rocker panels. Based on an educated guess by placing the 2002-03 skirts over the 4th gen... it looks like a simple cut and removal of a few inches in the middle to shorten the sideskirt should allow them to fix nice and flush.

I know people claim it can't be done bla bla bla but I'm gonna work on it on my spare time and see what the outcome turns out to be.

There you go, try to get it to fit, it may look good, and we all may end up doing what you did lol. You never know, unless you try it.
