Maxus Drag racing and tires

This weekend i am attending maxus, I have never drag raced before. I was wondering if anyone else going is bringing another set of wheels/tires?I have an extra set of 16s with some random street tires on it. I am only thinking of bringing them so i dont kill my normal tires. Any thoughts to this?

Im bringing drag radials and my girl is bringing her sawblades since they are lighter than her 17's. Its really up to you.

bring lightweight 16's with tires that you dont care leaving them on the track.
