ok i've received my box and am trying to figure out the wiring.....has anyone hooked this up yet?

i basically need to know where to find the power wire going towards the ignition coils and the power wire away from coils. I also need to find the ignition control signal. everything else is self explanatory. anyone know where i can find these? I've tried looking on alldata.com but can't seem to find anything other than ecu pinouts which somewhat help but not for coil power going in and out.

 

Should be in the fsm. I know there is a schematic if you are looking to troubleshoot the ignition circuit fault . I usually look at the schemtic in the chiltons.

 

ok i've got everything wired up but i'm finding trouble where the ignition power wire is....the wire going to the coils and and going away....any ideas?

 

Its a red wire on the drivers side, located a bit behind the battery.

 

holla at Aaron (ghostmax), I am pretty sure this is the two step box he was telling me about that he put in his car. His is working, ask anyone at Maxus

 

the red w/ silver stripe? i traced the wires coming out of the fuse box next to batt. and that is where the first sign of the red w/ silver stripe. will this work if i cut into that? because i cut into pin 7 under the EGI relay b/c i was under the assumption that was the coil power...
