What's my best bet for quiet, no-squeal drum brake shoes? I've heard Nissan's are good, but are Raybestos any good? Welcoming all suggestions.

Go with the nissan ones...they (like all new brake pads/shoes) will squeak a little until they get "broken in". They may cost you a little bit more, but I think that you will be quite happy with the OEM (nissan) ones in the long run.

yup.. Stay with OEM Nissan shoes.. I've tried just about every other brand out there, and the OEM shoes are the only ones that didn't glaze and squeal after the first couple 100-0 stops.
I've got a set of OEM shoes with less than 1000 miles on 'em if you want 'em.. $30+ shipping. (they cost me $55)

I agree, go with factory shoes. I've tried many others with no long term luck (squeeking returns).

Also, make sure to clean everything well with spray brake cleaner and get the drums turned!
