5spd swap.. (just have a question or two)

We are currently taking the task of swapping out 96 5spd max w/few tranny mods (clutch/flywheel/lsd) and putting into my other 96 3.5 automatic.

I've printed out the DIY guide offered on VQpower.com (http://www.vqpower.com/v2/articles.php?article_id=44)

I have both the Haynes and Chilton's on hand... I have the complete donor car

Is there anything that is not mentioned in the above article that I should know? Anything they might have missed that is "IMPORTANT" before we take on the task? I have no hands on experience but my buddy who does hondas and now works on his VW jetta is gonna help me out.

Does anyone know where I can get both FSM's for my 96 and for 05 ? Some one has the g20 link listed, but its no longer working, and I cant seem to find anything online (if you can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated).

I hope to post photos of the process and whateve we encounter... after this first feat, we're gonna overhaul the 3.5 and make sure I can get it running properly.

Good luck man. I'm going to do mine next weekend. If you have a donor car and access to the FSMs, you should be fine. The part I am dreading most is drilling the holes for the clutch master cylinder. Oh, and make sure you have a nice, strong 36mm socket for the axle nut.

Does anyone know how hard it is to put the automatic tranny and all its goodies into the donor car? I have to have both running eventually

The most time consuming part will be the electronics. You need to wire up the TCM, unless you purchase a SupraStick (you can do a search on it here).
